Tucson Relocation
Tucson is located 118 miles south of Phoenix and 60 miles north of the U.S. - Mexico border. It is surrounded by five mountain ranges: Santa Catalina Mountains and the Tortolita Mountains to the north, the Santa Rita Mountains in the distant south and southeast, the Rincon Mountains to the east, and the Tucson Mountains are located to the west. A few suburbs of Tucson are Marana, Oro Valley, Vail, and Sahuarita.
Tucson receives more than 300 days of sunshine every year. Temperature in the spring, fall, and winter are mild. The summer time does heat up, but because of Tucson's low humidity and medium altitude, it makes the higher temperatures feel more comfortable. Tucson metropolitan population in 2006 hit one million and is steadily increasing. Some of Tucson's major events include the Accenture Match Play Championship, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, and MLB Spring Training of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, and Colorado Rockies.
If you are thinking about relocating to the Tucson metro area email me at jasonz@kw.com or call 520-577-1189 to learn how I can make your relocation easier. I can also mail you relocation information for free. I have helped many clients find a place to live in Tucson without their viewing of the city first. Also, if you like to dine out, don't forget to ask me for the best places to eat in town.
